If you read Fifty Shades of Grey the number 146963 might be familiar to you. Or not; to be honest I’m terrible remembering numbers.
146963 is the access code to the garage at Escala. The question is, is it a random number or does it mean something else? Well, you can read this brilliant entry by Laters, baby! where she propose an interesting theory. She thinks it could be the image number for The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (also referred as the dragon tree representing eternal life) and a detail on The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch. The painting from the 16th Century is currently housed at the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain. See the full article here.
Second question. Is this true? E.L James does not says that’s a correct guessing but to the question “is 146963 a random number?” she said no. So is not a random number… interesting!
Anyway, I like Bosch and this is an amazing painting in all its details. So I thought it’s a great excuse for a gallery. Enjoy!
